Stocks are limited, we have made up as many as possible within the budget available so please don’t delay collecting. Please note if you collect a kit we very much need you to attend the lantern parade. As the kits are limited please be sure you can attend before collecting a kit. The lanterns are not releasable ones they can either be recycled or kept post event.
MAKING YOUR SIMPLE LANTERN NB full instruction sheet is inc but please note only the willow piece for the handle needs soaking and drying prior to assembly, it is not necessary to soak all the willow pieces. All pieces have been labelled in the kit. If you have any problems or need replacement pieces if things don’t go quite to plan there are some left over resources which may help you !
Please message Rachel Voller via Facebook or please email wickford.shadow.towncouncil@gmail.com. We will be happy to try and help. Really hoping you will enjoy making a lantern and joining the parade at such a momentous occasion. Don’t forget the Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday 5/6 at the Nevendon Centre also ( details on flyer in photo)
