Queens 70th Platinum Jubilee

As it is the Queens 70th Platinum Jubilee next year the Friends will be working with the council to plant up the raised bed in the Home Front Garden in ‘Jubilee’ colours.

We will be taking the Crown Jewels as a base and below are ideas for the plants.

Silver plants for the Platinum and Diamonds- Calocephalus Brownii, Heuchera Silvergumdrop, Helebores, Million Bells (white),
Red plants for the Rubies- Dianthus (red), Million Bells (red)
Blue and Purple plants for the Velvet and Sapphires- Salvia- Hayloft, Million Bells (blue), Agapanthus-Fireworks
Green for the Emeralds. Helchrysum- Ember Glow
