All welcome to join our gardening group.
We normally meet on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 9:30am.
The first session will be weeding, cutting back dead heads, mulching the Home Front Garden.
We normally finish with a social coffee/bacon sandwich in Huttons Cafe.
Please wear sturdy shoes and old, warm clothes.
Tasks for the next few months.
•Refurbishment of benches
•Use leftover mulch on back border etc
•Tyres put in their locations, painted and planted
•Memorial hedge removed and replaced – discussions still taking place on choice of plants
•Plant snowdrops (on order)
•Early March cut back perennials
•Crazy Golf area tidied, cleaned and painted if needed
•Define pathways around wildflower garden and lay bark chipping
•Plants have been ordered for the raised bed to be planted on arrival
•Himalayan Balsam to be removed from river around May time, Marian to contact person who will coordinate this.
