The Wickford War Memorial Association

was set up to commemorate and install a fitting War Memorial for the fallen servicemen of Wickford.

Now that their objective has been achieved they are closing the War Memorial Committee and transferring their final funds to the Friends of the Wickford Memorial Park.

This is on the understanding that we only spend the money on the Memorial and Remembrance Ave.

We will be discussing projects and enhancements at our next committee meeting

The transferred funds were £1517.
